sitting on this bench
I meditate
in the quiet of this forest
I can hear Mother Nature’s voice
trees whisper in the wind
birds sing sweetly
sunlight shines brightly
an abundance of beauty
surrounds me
soil beneath my feet
clear blue sky above
the smell of
clean air filling my lungs
here there are
no face masks
no surgical gloves
no soap & water
peace & tranquility
reside here
and I am reminded
to have no fear
because….
I am safe
I am healthy
I have everything I need
in this life
all I need to do
is go deep within
and quietly listen
I am overflowing
with love
